Press Release: National Association of Charitable Gift Planners announces 2018 CGP Conference Scholarship Recipients

Indianapolis, IN – The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners have selected the 2018 GCP Conference Scholarship winners. Amy Palmer, Becki Romans, Danielle Madrid, Keatley Scroggins, Kevin Mullin, Kevin VandenBrink, Nate Kaunley, Rebecca Watkins, Robbin Hudson, Todd Kaprielian and Tom Morse will be recognized October 17, 2018 at the CGP national conference in Las Vegas.

The CGP Conference Scholarship fund was established to offer educational opportunities to fundraising and charitable gift planning professionals. The goal of the fund is to promote philanthropic planning techniques among a broad base of individuals. Scholarships are funded through the generosity of individual donors and companies dedicated to supporting the broader profession of charitable gift planning.

The following 11 people were selected as this year’s scholarship recipients:

  • Robbin Hudson, Community Programming Manager, United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland, of Cleveland, Ohio
  • Todd Kaprielian, Foundation Executive Director, St. Paul’s Senior Services Foundation, of San Diego, California
  • Nate Kaunley, Planned Giving and Major Gifts Officer, Saint Joseph’s College, of Standish, Maine
  • Danielle Madrid, Director of Development and External Relations, Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation, of Austin, Texas
  • Tom Morse, Director of Development, North House Folk School, of Grand Marais, Minnesota
  • Kevin Mullin, Executive Director, Estes Park Medical Center Foundation, of Estes Park, Colorado
  • Amy Palmer, Director of Development, Adrian Dominican Sisters, of Adrian, Michigan
  • Becki Romans, Executive Direction of Mission Advancement, Conventual Franciscan Friars Province of Our Lady of Consolation, of Mount St. Francis, Indiana
  • Keatley Scroggins, Director of Development, Ivan Allen College - Georgia Institute of Technology, of Atlanta, Georgia
  • Kevin VandenBrink, Legacy Giving Director, Langham Partnership, of St. Louis, Missouri
  • Rebecca Watkins, Director of Major Gifts & Planned Giving, North Carolina Symphony, of Raleigh, North Carolina
