What are Donors Telling Us?
When high-net-worth donors choose to make a charitable interest one of the principal beneficiaries of their philanthropic dollars during lifetime and/or through their estate, they become more than donors—they become partners in transforming that organization’s capacity to serve society. Approached from that perspective, organization and philanthropic partners are able to accomplish things together that couldn’t be achieved outside of that partnership. In this session, Ron will examine approaches required for these philanthropic partnerships to flourish. Based on experience securing some of the largest gifts ever made and leading development staffs of as many as 480 members, Ron will examine how to build awareness and belief among institutional leaders and planners in the organization’s capacity to secure larger gifts than ever before, as well as how to build confidence among donors in making such philanthropic commitments.
